It's bookfair week! Our hours are Tuesday 7:15-7:00, Wednesday and Thursday 7:15-4:30, and Friday 9:00-3:30. We will have an author visit for 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders with John David Anderson on Wednesday morning. I created the video above in preparation for the visit. Anderson's books are available for pre-order through Tuesday and we will have signed copies at the fair beginning Wednesday after the visit. I am looking forward to meeting this author of Miss Bixby's Last Day (yep- super sad, but so good!!!), Posted (so timely & relevant for our kids), and Granted (just released- hear the Prologue read by Topher below).
AND.... for the first time ever!!!! We are having an adult author visit on Friday morning at 7:45. Please plan on attending this panel discussion. You do NOT want to miss this. We are so fortunate to have these talented folks in our community! I am ecstatic about this special event and hope you will attend!!! We will have three talented authors: Kate Winkler Dawson, Doss mom and author of Death in the Air, Juli Berwald, author of Spineless: The Science of Jellyfish and the Art of Growing a Backbone, and Ernest Cline, Doss dad and author of Ready Player One and Armada. Ernest Cline's movie release date for Ready Player One is at the end of March.... You know the rule, you have to read the book before you see the movie!!!
