All 3rd through 5th graders are encouraged to participate in the Bluebonnet Program. Students must read 5 of the 20 nominated books in order to vote in January. Of course, we encourage them to read more. Efforts small and large are rewarded at the bluebonnet breakfast in February. The chosen books include both fiction and nonfiction and a variety of different reading levels. Books are chosen by the Texas Library Association. Check out the book list at their webpage.
